The Deity known as Christ!

I have to write a theology paper soon on the nature of who Christ is. I have come across a view known as "adoptionism." this view beleives that Christ was born imaculatly by mary, but not divine, only human. Since no human was ever born throguh this way before, is it be safe to say that Christ wasnt either? I beleive that Christ became divine only after the holy spirit came upon him whilw he was baptized by John the Baptist. If we look at the New Testament we can see that only after Christ was baptized did he start doing and perfroming his miralces. is this a coincidence? i beleive not. if you want to study this study at more length you should it is very intrigiung and thought-provoking!

Christian Democrats!

I am a Christian Democrat, and i use both terms very loosely. I love my Country, but i Love God more. I am for social issues, such as.. ending poverty, homlessness, universal healthcare, and equal rights to all. I know many conservatives, will applaude my ambitions and stance, but many will not support them. Why? i do not know? A Change needs to be made in our country, politacally and Relgiously. Theology & Science

I am currently studying theology and science at school, i am very interested in this subject matter. Do any of you out there have reasons for studying these issues. Do you beleive that Theology and Science should be in a dialouge model, or a conflict model? How should we as Christians dialouge with atheist's or naturalists?
